Maths Week                        October 2023

All classes were involved in a variety of problem solving actvities using Izak9, solving word problems in class and using Mathseeds and Mathletics.

Primary 1,2 and 3 are enjoying Mathseeds. This programme teaches core maths and problem solving skills with fun, highly interactive and rewarding lessons.
Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7 are enjoying the activities and challenges involved on the Mathletics website. Each pupil has their unique username and password and can complete activities at home.

Primary 1, 2 and 3 participate in a Paired Maths programme during term one and term two.

Children bring home a variety of  maths games to play with their parents.

During June all pupils in St. Columba's enjoy maths games with buddies from other classes.
